Rippa Rugby J7 & J8 (non-contact) age 5-7 years played on half field
J6 & J5 age 6-9 years - introductory tackle Rugby played on half field
J4-J1 8-12yrs  Full field, tackle Rugby.
(all kids are graded using the North Harbour Rugby Union Grades Chart)

Senior Rugby

Former All Black Ron Cribb will assist Dean Phillipps and Bux Nio-Aporo coaching the Helensville Premier rugby side this season. Cribb, who was capped 15 times for the All Blacks, has helped the side during the 2006 season and is hoping to play a big part in moulding a strong side in 2010.

Training has started for the Helensville District Rugby Football Club on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6.30pm at the club.
 Coach Dean Phillipps is looking forward to taking on the best clubs in the North Harbour Premier competition in 2010.
 
The clubs under 21 side have also started training on the same nights and are coached by local man Hoani Harris.
All potential players and supporters are welcome to attend any training and games.

Coaching and Teams for 2010
 

Helensville District Rugby Football Club has appointed Dean Phillipps to coach its Premier rugby side in 2010.
Phillipps, a veteran of 282 games for the Red, Gold, and Blacks has previously coached the clubs Under 19s,  21s and Senior First sides, and will be in his first year coaching at premier level.
Fellow centurion Bux Nio-Aporo will assist Phillipps while Mark Mcdonald will be the teams trainer. Another local, Dave Chisholm will oversee operations  as the sides manager which is a position he has held for the last 6 seasons.
The team is having a muster this Friday at 8pm at the club after touch. All current and potential players are asked to attend. For further information you can call Dean on 0276006281 or 4207095.

Another local, Hoani Harris has been appointed coach of the clubs under 21's side. Harris played for the club for 4 seasons including the 1985 season which was North Harbours inaugural season. Hoani is looking forward to getting hold of as many local boys as he can and bringing them through.
The Under 21s are having a muster this Sunday at 1pm at the club for all interested players. A light meal and drink will be included at the muster.
