Welcome to Helensville Rugby
Club History
Rugby has always been important to the people of Helensville and its surrounding districts. Club Objective
To be a community focused and friendly club, providing a safe and enjoyable environment for both players and spectators whilst developing our players’ rugby skills and providing up to date resources for members.
Junior Rugby
The Junior section of the club provides a positive and healthy environment for the
children of the community. Children from the age of 5years have the opportunity to play at the club, starting with Rippa Rugby – a non-contact, easy to play game for both boys and girls.
Rugby for the juniors incorporates the Small Blacks Development Model taking the kids through the different phases of learning rugby.

Senior Rugby
The Senior teams offer the rugby community an excellent competitive sport within an organized, well-run competition.
In 2011 Helensville and Kumeu clubs joined forces in the Premier and Senior 1st grades creating the ‘Western Pioneers’. It was a very successful year that the clubs intend to build on for the future.
