Our Junior club provides both contact and non-contact rugby options for boys and girls, ages 5 to 13.

As the future stars of rugby, we are dedicated to expanding our Junior membership by offering a safe, welcoming environment where they can belong for life.

Our Junior Offerings will include:

Junior Girls

Contact: J6, J5, J4, J3, J2, J 1 (can be mixed)

NEW for 2026 season - North Harbour are introducing girls only tackle under 9 year girls and under 11 year girls. 

Come along to a Girls only tackle session - Wed 25th Feb @ 4pm, the clubrooms, supported by North Harbour 

Non-Contact: J8 Mixed, J7 Mixed, U9 Rippa, U11 Rip Rugby, U13 Rip Rugby


Junior Boys

Contact: J6, J5, J4, J3, J2, J 1 (can be mixed)

Non-Contact: J8 Mixed, J7 Mixed, U9 Rippa, U11 Rip Rugby, U13 Rip Rugby

Notes:

1. Players turning 5 years old by 30 July 2025 (Year Born – 2020) may play in J8.

2. Girls/Boys may play Rippa rugby in mixed grades J7 and J8, then play tackle rugby in J6 to J1 or may choose to continue to play Rippa rugby in the Girls/Boys only Rippa/Rip Rugby grades – U18/U15/U13/U11/U9. Y15/U13/U11 play Rip Rugby and U9 play Rippa.

3. A 2kg lenience will be allowed for female players, applying to all weight limits.

    Come along and see us at Helensville A&P Show this year - Sat 28th Feburary. 

    Wed 25th Feb @ 4pm - Girls only tackle - give it a go with North Harbour at the clubrooms.

    Wed 25th Feb - PRE-SEASON training starts - more info to come.

    Sat 7th March - 9am - 12pm - Give it a go day, Registrations and Weigh in day, at the clubrooms.

    Wed 11th March - 3.30pm - 5pm - Registration and weigh in day at the clubrooms.

    Wed 18th March - 3.30pm - 5pm - Registration and weigh in day at the clubrooms. 


    Please note:

    All registered players must attend one of the dates above to weigh in and complete the registraton process.  Players cannot be placed in a team until their fees have been paid (or payment dicussed with a Junior sub-committee member). ​​​​​​​
